A small audience today, maybe fifteen, although it’s very quiet across all shows, but they enjoyed it (well the sketches, but that seems to be a given now, that and my intro where my mixed-up track slags off Edinburgh). Got some good laughs on Flight Attendant and Happy Shopper. I removed as much unnecessary dialogue from those sketches to allow to got laughter and played it very physical so it worked better. Modern Man worked well, Street Performer got titters, but again without enough narrative Hitler’s Beard drifted and the ending wasn’t sufficient enough. So, tomorrow it’s back to the original, yes it’s longer but it needs the narrative.

Performed at Comedy Slappers last night and bombed; the tech failed, was too quiet, kept feeding back then mid-sketch failed entirely, and left me trying to recover a sketch in which the audience were missing key info. Impossible situation and very embarrassing, but such is the limitations of my act, so I need to work out a way to combat this.
