I’m just praying there’s no other colourised days of gloom ahead; maybe Mardy Maroon Thursday, Shitty Brown Saturday or Fucked-up Fuchsia Friday? Yesterday was horrible. Really horrible. Yes, the show has problems, but the mass walk out was just humiliating. Half of me actually wished everyone had walked out, so I could have ended it there and then, rather than knowing I still had thirty minutes to perform, and some rather rum scenes which were going to bomb, just like the others.

Two polar opposite shows; Tuesday was a success, (Black) Wednesday was a complete and utter disaster. How? 

I think I might give out my comments slips today, at the door, weed people out. Those who want something different and crazy and wrong and experimental, stay in, those who want something tame, there’s the door. 

Don’t think I’m blaming them, I’m not, my show is full of mistakes, all of my own doing. So I’ve either got to fight on, find “my” audience or leave. Ten more days, ten more shows, and almost certainly ten more different reactions.
