Gear change. I’m re-selling the show as a “play… with funny bits” rather than “a sketch-show with dramatic bits”. I can’t really do anything about the bad language except pre-warn the audience. To be honest I should really have thought of that beforehand. Doh!
On everyone’s seats today they’ll also find a comments slip. What I want is the audience’s “honest” opinion. That’s why we’re here isn’t it? To learn and develop. Many people gauge how successful a show was by the attendance, the laughter and the bucket collection, but you can’t beat good honest anonymous opinions. Gulp. Well you get what you ask for.
